Hawaiian Hot Ham & Cheese Rolls

Stuffed ham & swiss cheese rolls are covered in a semi-sweet mustard sauce, then baked away to fluffy and buttery rolls. Also known as “Hawaiian Ham & Cheese Sliders”, these rolls are actually made from pizza dough. Feel free to make these into sliders using dinner rolls and bring to a gathering or just make some for a mid-day snack and enjoy:)

Ingredients for Hawaiian Ham & Cheese Rolls:

  • 1 (13.8oz) pkg Pillsbury Classic Pizza Crust
  • 18 slices black forest Ham
  • 8 slices swiss cheese

SAUCE:

  • 6 Tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tsp worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp stone ground dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp poppy seeds

IMG_0458How to make Hawaiian Ham & Cheese Rolls:

1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F and lightly grease an oven safe skillet. Set aside.

2. Unroll pizza dough on parchment paper to a 13″ by 18″ rectangle.

3. Top dough with ham & cheese. (4-5 slices of ham for each row and 2 slices of cheese across each row.)

4. Roll dough into a log, sealing edge.

5. Slice into 8 pieces about 1″ wide.

6. Place into the prepared skillet, touching each other.

7. Combine all the sauce ingredients into a small saucepan and melt the butter over medium-high heat.

8. Once bubbly and smooth, spoon sauce over each roll and bake for 20-25 minutes.
